A SCUT is a 'sub-compact utility tractor', it is smaller than a 'CUT'(compact utility tractor) sometimes takes narrow 3pt.hitch implements, that don't raise as high as a CUT would, and is low to the ground. somewhere around 5 inches ground clearance. and has hydraulics that spec out much less than CUT series tractors. Shorter wheelbase than a CUT, and usually 44 to 48 inches wide. Then tell me, What is a SCUT????And who makes them?

Kubota, John Deere, Massey, Cub/Yanmar, New Holland.......and I here Kioti makes one now..........I still need to check the specs on that one.
The new Kioti CS2410 subcompact isn't listed on their site yet, but I did find this:Let me know what you find out..
Not really sure how to best answer your question. Some on here consider Subcuts 'glorified lawn mowers' even though they have hydraulics, 3pt. capabilities, backhoes, mid and rear PTO's, but they are classified as tractors by dealers, and insurance companies, and qualify for tax breaks if you have a farm. What makes a tractor a tractor and a glorified lawn mower a tractor?
By Mahindra standards........it's only a subcut...........sorry.........a glorified lawnmower.:laughing:When I bought my JD LA135 from Lowes JD sent me an official tractor owner cap. If JD says its so it is gospel. JD gave me a cap for buying the lawn tractor and I got 2 Kubota caps for buying my L5740 so it must be twice the tractor that the JD is.
I may enter my farm jeep in a local antique tractor show this spring. It has a PTO and 3 point hitch. Willys actually sold a "Jeep Tractor" in the early 50s - http://farmjeep.com/img/ads/farmjeep-farmtractor.jpg and it differed from the farm jeep by leaving off the windshield, headlights and the passenger seat. I don't think they sold many.
Don't think this helps with the definition, just a little fun fact.
