Tractor HD Grill Guard

I search all over the internet searching for ideas on building a HD brush guard for the front on my MF 431 and couldn't find anything really good..... so, after having mine built I thought I would post pics here. I primarily wanted something to protect the front end while working food plots and cutting shooting lanes on the hunt property. I'm sure there may be some better ideas, but I think this one will work great. You'll notice the removable panel for the headlights for when I'm not in the woods as well as the offset from the tractor that allows full access to the front grill for battery maintenance etc. I had them also weld the 1" steel "D" for chaining the tractor down during transport.

Nice job! That should protect it very well. You can probably use it like a mini skidder and just run right over smaller trees!:thumbsup:

It's not super heavy, I'd say about 90-100 lbs. Very solid, I especially like the way the welding shop bent and cut the steel supports to match the bends and beveled cut of the orginal bumper which is still on the tractor.
