Tractor heater?

.............I currently run the new style with configurable vents (24V / 45 Amp) and it seems comparable to a 1500W space heater.............

With 24 volts and 45 amps it calculates to 1,080 watts. I can see that feeling comparable to a 1,500 watt space heater in the cab. the other calcs don't make sense. I went to their website and it looks to me like they have some bafflegab going on.

"bafflegab" ...thats sounds scary....lol
locknut, did I read that correctly, you are running a 24 volt system on your tractor.

Yes. 70A Delco 1-wire alt driven at mid pto.Two L&G batteries mounted underneath for the voltage storage. I use it for the heater and two 24V actuators for the v-plow up front.

Coleman-Aire thru ebay.Wouldn't recommend one though.DOA when I got it.Sent it back.Worked ok for a couple years, then last year it quit.Supposidly made for aircraft.Maybe tractor use is too much vibration.Been thinking about removing it from the blockoff screen and install a volt gauge.

What is this "snow" stuff you refer too?
Will it effect how I mow my lawn right before Christmas? :)

I've spoken to the reindeer, they have agreed to leave a little something extra at your place this year.... Let's call it fertilizer ;)

[be careful hosing off the roof.... don't stand directly under where you are spraying]

I have 2 heaters fed off a circulating pump from a Dodge Durango. I also put shut off valves in series so i don't need to drain the cab in the summer. when the wind was blowing in sub zero temps the windows would ice up before I added the second heater and pump.

I have the heater from Curtis that is mounted above my left knee then i added one above my head on the right side. I have them plumbed in series and use the circ pump to feed them. Even with the engine coolant temp that normally runs below 140 I usually end up shutting one heater off because it gets too hot in the cab. They have the pump on ebay for around$37.00

Nice, so which parts are borrowed from the Durango?
