Make sure you didn't loose the o-ring at the top of the fuel bowl when you cleaned it out the first time. They will suck air if not sealed properly.

Thanks for all the replies.

I went to the dealer on saturday and got a new fuel filter and voila, all is good again. $7.50 for a filter was not to bad I thought.

But then he told me about the l5740 tractors with the full cab and mid pto set up. Maybe I will look into that a bit more once I receive a quote from him.

It was a p.i.t.a. on sunday to blow snow for 5 hrs and backing up the tractor.
My neck was stiff as heck when I was done in the afternoon.
