Those fans come in various sizes, and require mounting brackets which they sell. Intriguing. Anyone have experience with these?

Most do not have anywhere near the CFM of the stock mechanical fan.

From what I've been told no electric fan will move air like a mechanically driven fan off the water pump or equivalent. I've seen people add an electric pusher in front of the radiator to help in hotter weather and that helps but does not take the place of an engine driven fan.

I use a varsol gun to clean radiators. You can buy them at Harbor Freight or NAPA or any automotive store should have it. They are not expensive and really do the job. They are designed to suck up varsol from a jug with air and then wash off grease. I use water instead of varsol and use it to clean out the fins on a radiator. The water loosens the dirt and the air blows it out of the radiator. The only caution I have is not to use the tractor in dusty conditions till the radiator is dried out. A few minutes of running should do that.

Go look under the hood of many pickups today just electric fans,
and some of the high end electrics are quite powerful especially when compared to even 10 years ago.
Also when the inlet screens are plugged it doesn't matter how much air the engine driven fan could move.

Granted I haven't seen everything in life but I've never seen an electric fan in a tractor or a combine. An electric fan is totally adequate for engine requirement while idling around. When it's going down the road and requirements are higher there is the ram effect from moving down the road which adds to the cooling.

No, I haven't seen one in a tractor either especially the high horsepower units.
Many of them have gone to hydraulic powered fans with reversers to self clean.
But we are only talking 50 horse engines here not 200 to550 hp.

The reason for electric fans on trucks and cars is to get that last 0.1 mpg. If not needed they don’t run and use and power. Going down the road at 30 mph or faster there is enough air flow. A tractor isn’t moving fast enough for that to be a factor.
