I like the 3520 size tractor, but I don't take mine on to the lawn either. I made the mistake of a 5' rotary cutter which only taxes my tractor when cutting ant hills... Unless you are cutting old well maintained hay fields, its hard to go fast enough to make pto hp the limiting factor when bush hogging IME. I'd get a 6' cutter for it and cutting a few acres shouldn't take too long. This size of tractor can do some handy things like pulling cars out of ditches, or toss round bales around.
