You are a newbie. No camera or computer as retribution??

Well bud, place your hands on the desk so that we may crack them with a ruler. We will use an American made wooden ruler.

Don't type so fast, you misspell words (sic grat).

Actually, you are punished enough just driving a Jeep. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

TSC stores are quite different from location to location. The first one I was in (8 hours from my home) was great. When I returned from my trip I checked their web site and found one about 20 miles from my home. When I went there I was disappointed. The store was not well kept, less selection, less friendly staff. The store is in a depressed area so I shouldn't be surprised. The good news is that 3 more TSC stores are being built close to me and in better areas. The first one is 50 miles away and is very nice. The other 2 are closer and should be as nice or better.

As far as there products they do have some low end Items as well as good quality stuff. Purchase what you want. I'm not impressed with their lawn and garden equipment but they have so many other tractor related Items that are not otherwise available locally. I have bought quite a few items there. I'm particularly impressed with their selection of castors and wheels for projects.

Several posters have complained about the staff's knowledge or lack of it. Well most of the guys on this forum I would consider very knowledgeable about tractors and related products. But face it we are freaks O/K maybe Motor Heads is a better description. The depth that we discuss tractor related topics here can not be understood by the average Joe. It's just a tractor!! My wife thinks I'm a little crazy. Any way how can guys like us expect someone making a relatively low retail wage to under stand equipment to the level that we do. Retailors are notorious for not paying the greatest. I probably couldn't support my current life style on a TSC clerks wages.

So I'm happy to have TSC around. I have a good time shopping there They are not perfect, but darn convient for lots of things.

I have even gotten my wife to go with me, much to my suprise she actually liked it.

i think that tsc stores vary greatly by the area there in and the staff that they have. i think the bottom line is we are forgetting that TSC is basicly a discount store like walmart or that sorta place, when i go to tsc i generaly dont expect to get advice from the store personel, nor do i expect them to know every product they have in the store, the tradeoff for having to look a little harder for a product is that there prices are generaly lower, if i realy need a good quality product and the advice and technical support to choose a product i will go elsewhere like my local machinery dealer or whatever, i look at tsc like a farmers walmart, i dont expect great service or high quality, but low prices instead, and that being said, i have been very pleased with the service at my local tsc, better than i would expect for a store of that type, alot more helpfull than anyone i have run into at walmart or home depot

"My wife wants to know if Dogs are allowed in TSC?"

I don't know if there is a company wide policy on this or not, but I know they are at mine. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've seen any number of breeds and sized in and out of there over the years. I think the obvious (or what SHOULD be obvious) always applies; Your dog should be incredibly well socialized with adults and children of all appearances as well as other dogs and animals like chicks and rabbits they're likely to encounter while in the store. I'd never take a dog there (or any other social situation) that wasn't going to react favorably to a child running up to them or being patted them from behind without the dog knowing the child was even there because that's what children do. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

No problem here. I can do 7 foot drifts in the comfort of my 5030, listening to a good CD. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have a Lucknow 78" rear mount. If it gets too bad, I always have a few sleds around. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I still want payment in the form of your camera and computer. You know, the one with the punk rock lens.

I went to my new TSC this weekend, nice store. I noticed the prices are 10% higher in the store as stated in the "Blue Book". Is this only in the overpriced metro NYC area?
