The fronts of my CK30 are pretty beat after 1100 hours of mowing, clearing, and loader work. I don't use 4wd unless I have to but that ends up being about 75% of the time. The rears are not worn.
R4 tires.
Now how do you know when they are too worn to use? It's not like I'm worried about hydroplaning or a high speed blow out. They will likely provide sufficient traction for mowing until they are totally bald.
I also race dirt bikes and the knobby tires on these wear out pretty fast. Some guys want ultimate traction and replace when the tires are only slightly worn. Some are less serious like me and will darn near run them until bald. We both finish the race.
