While at the dealer the other day for service, one of the sales guys and I was talking about how many SCUT and CUT tractors are sold to folks who are tired of buying the cheaper, more prone to last a couple of years mowers, and are opting to buy once and for all. Many may be inheriting family land, buying land or making plans on retiring on a "bigger place". Either way, most all owners either have little or no experience on tractors beyond the yardman style. I fit into this group that wants to buy what will last till they dig my hole with my Kubota. I learn everyday I use it. What used to be a chore is now fun, what used to not get done is now done, and what projects would have had to be hired out are now done by me. I bought my 23 in July, it now has about 52 hours on it. My 2200 was one year old when I traded her in (got to see her again as the dealer still has her) with 141 hours. I wish I had time for more.
