Cub Cadet 104
I have a Cub Cadet 104. When I put it in gear and start to release the clutch, it starts to move but as soon as I let the clutch out completely, it has no power to the wheels. However, if I press the clutch back in a little bit, it will start to move again. There seems to be a "Sweet Spot" in the clutch pedal so to speak that the tractor will move. Any ideas? Bad clutch? drive gear bad?

Does the Cub have a transmission disconnect on the rear to allow you to push the mower with out the transmission holding it back?
My John Deere has a lever on the back so when you pull it out the trans free wheel so you can push by hand. If it is left out drive will not engage.

Just a thought.

Sounds like the clutch to me. If the engine died while releasing the clutch and the tractor drove n neutral then it would be your shifting forks.
