tractor won't start

L3130... turn key, Glow plug clicks, is in nuetral but starter won't turn over. Checked all fuses, battery is not the issue. worked earlier this morning. Any ideas ??????

Are you pressing the clutch in? Could be a bad/frozen clutch switch. My L3240 HST has to have the clutch pushed in to start. If I don't, it displays "clutch" on the LCD display.

Double check to make sure all the safety switches are in the correct position. Similar thing happened to me last fall after sister BF used tractor. I was told to check PTO safety, neutral safety. I was so sure it was something more complicated since I have had problems with my safety neutral switch.

Well after tracing wires and trying to track down the problem, sure enough BF had engaged the PTO (he didn't need to) and left it engaged.

So far none of the above, but thanks for your replys. Think I'll try jumping to the starter when it gets light out again. That may help me isolate it to the starter or safety switches ?

We had a Case CX80 that did that, but it was intermittent and a bear to diagnose; turned out to be a bad safety switch.
