Muhammad and all,

I am almost speechless. This is the kind of attention that all of these great Winning Tractors deserve. And, such fantastic evaluations! I must agree with the JD 4300 as Tractor of the Year. But I am betting next year we will see very serious competition. This is great for the winners, and will hopefully lead to more competition amongst the makers, which will benefit us owners in the long term.

I believe this is yet another "First" for TractorByNet.com, to make such national awards for compact tractors. All of the manufacturers should be proud of this honor.

And finally, what more could I say in praise of Steve Carver and his phenomenal crew in Dunn, NC. He would be a standout top of the line dealer no matter the product or service. He is a classy as they get. Congratulations Steve Carver!

Geee's Muhammad,

This is like entering your first born in a baby contest and finding out you have an ugly kid./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I didn't see my B21 anywhere, but I still think it's cute. Looked like a fair call in all categories. Those Green guy's may be hard to deal with for a bit. Congratulations to Steve Carver, that seems well deserved. Last thanks to you (again) for all your hard work. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well, we considered the B21 more of a construction unit since the loader is a riged mount, etc. Along with the L35. With the L48 coming out for '01, I think next year we might introduce a new category for compact TLB's and look at the Kubotas as well as the other machines out there.

Just as a note, because we ranked one tractor higher than another, doesn't mean that the tractors that didn't win are inferior or anything, just being considered means they are 'for real'. Like I said about the B21, it really didn't fit in any of the conventional compact tractor categories we set. We all know that it is the best 21-horsepower TLB out there. Fine tractor you have. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Muhammed ( & Crew),

You have outdone yourselves (which wasn't easy) !!

Congratulations on a great new feature... one which I think will (definitely SHOULD) get the attention of everyone; users, dealers, and manufacturers alike... Tractorbynet is becoming THE PLACE for serious info.

"One great leap" for tractorman-kind (and tractorwomankind:) !

With my new JD4700 at the dealers being outfitted, naturally I'm pleased with the rankings!

I know those of us on this side of the screen can't REALLY know the amount of time and effort this took, But please accept our attempts to say thanks.... FEEL APPRECIATED!!

Muhammad,
I tip my hat to you folks first of all.

I'm little surprise that New Holland didn't fair better, for the super steering..swivel seat..hood design for better viewing.

And to you and all the staff have a safe Merry Holidays.

Thomas,

I agree with you on "I tip my hat to Muhammad and the others" too.

However, how they ranked the BX2200, a "sub" compact, over the TC21D is beyond me. The BX can't hold a candle to the TC. Steve Carver even ranks the BX below all B series Kubotas in what it will do. The BX has been an awesome seller, if this board is any indication, but it has been for those not needing a compact tractor, those needing a "sub" compact.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Safe New Year!

Just a comment on the inevitable discussion the "ratings" will cause; The lively exchanges in-support-of/opposing the results will only offer MORE food-for-thought to the prospective new owner ...still more of the Tractorbynet "good thing"!

Excellent new feature!( as long as the Ford-Chevy thing doesn't get the better of us:)
