I hate to use names, othewise it gets too political. I thought the last administration denied any large spending for the military, preffering social causes instead..

I like to use names for clarity's sake. Obama raised/maintained military spending to between 700 to 800 billion dollars each year. With his highest years being 2010 and 2011, spending over 850 billion each. Never let it be said he wasn't a hawk. He just preferred drones to boots.

And I didn't adjust those numbers for inflation, so figure even more in today's money.

He's lived a very long and interesting life. He's done more things the most of us will ever dream of doing. He's had successes, but he's also had more failures than most of us will have in total "attempts" . He's not squeaky clean and he's not politically correct. He knows the system because he's worked within the confines of it, around it, adjacent to it, and has even taken advantage of it in the past. He has legitimate life experience to refer to. In our current world of extremely over-the-top political correctness, extremely liberal socialist views, an "anti-masculine" society... He's exactly what we need. When I look at most of the other candidates for the office, it's easy to see through the BS and see that they are novice idealists who have lots of dreamy ideas but no actual life experience to draw on.

I'm only 38 but he's already my second favorite President in my lifetime. I appreciate that Reagan was a much more stoic and respectable individual, and I do wish Mr. Trump would tone it down and try to be more like Reagan. But he's passionate, and I do feel like he does what he believes is right. My feeling is that, he knows that he's made a lot of mistakes in the past and has given himself a negative image, deservedly. In my opinion I think he's trying to do the best he can for our country and to solidify that his final legacy will be a positive one.

Ultimately I think it comes down to this ... he may be an A-hole, but he's OUR A-hole. I'm glad he's on our team.

I just wish that the other side that doesn't like him would still respect the office. Instead of being obstructionists, I wish they would actually try to assist and support him. I didn't like the last president, but I still respected his office and still supported him in hopes that his decisions would makes our country, and the world, a better place.

That's where the members of that other crime syndicate belong without doubt. In fact, if the documentaries are to be believed, these people belong in the electric chair.

I have heard nothing of the orange guy ever having people in his way, simpy done away with.

You simply gotta stop thinking the FAKE NEWS is telling you anything truthful. It's all become politically oriented propaganda, not unbiased journalism.

You guys should be happy that you finally have someone looking out for ya.

My god, could we ever use someone like that.

Are you suggesting that "clown boy" is not doing a good job?

I don't even want to answer that, because apparently you can find yourself in hot water (in this country) if you speak ill of him. Reminds me of that twlight zone episode with the kid that wished people who dismayed him, into the corn. I just hope he found better glue for his fake eyebrows so he doesn't make a fool of himself again on the world stage.

If I could go back about 30 years and wish most of them into prison cells, that would be a start. They've pretty much all sold us out to Big Business and eliminated our privacy.

We are eliminating our privacy as we speak? forums, phones, FB and all the social media that most people use these days. Most people eliminate there own privacy, the government couldn't do it as quickly as we willingly and voluntarily do it to ourselves..

I've been saying that for a while now. Imagine a politician proposing a law requiring us to wear a tracking device at all times, and check in each evening with a report of what we did that day. He couldn't get reelected as a dog catcher. Yet now we carry cell phones which track our every move; and check in with FB every night telling what we did today and what's for supper.
