The buckets (5g) of gravel I bought the other day - only needed a little bit - were sold at the same price as when I bought buckets 10 years ago!Inflation rate is an overall average of many things, not just groceries. Some things are obviously selling for a lot more than the average rate, while other things haven’t increased as much.
Ergo, there's no inflation.

(I suspect they pretty much don't care about the cost of buckets of gravel at the plant, they can't give it away for free so the $1 is a "uh... how about a dollar" price they chose once and such a minuscule quantity is sold that way that it doesn't make even a hundredth of a percent of difference to the bottom line)
