hey scotty I have a yanmar 4220D with the stock wheels like you had with ag tires I also was thinking about turf tires, how did you figure out what size wheels and tires you needed for the 4 wheel drive gear ratio from front to rear,since the stock wheels are metric

Been busy...

Dropped a huge poplar today. Took 3 hours to drop, drag, chunk and split into manageable pieces so I can lift on trailer. I have another 6 large trees to drop in the next 3 days.
Hopefully I can get about 4-6 cords out of this stuff.

I saw through the trunks and split with a wedge. Large pieces I can just lift onto trailer. The first 3 pics show a bit of clean up after the local utility topped the trees to fix a line and left a mess. Last 3 are of tree removal for neighbours.

Fenders are standard IH for the time, It is a 1950 and still has flat tops in it.

Ours were all purchased used in the late 40's and very early 50's, so the fenders hadn't appeared by the time they were made.

This is my 1958 Case 310B That I've been using for the last few years to process my cord wood. And a photo of its replacement that I added two days ago. 2008 ASV PT-60 under 500 hours.

First trailer load. Loaded, unloaded, split and ready for the kids to stack tomorrow. Will get another load in the PM. 30% pine / 70% hardwood.

The second pic is the 'view" - always good to have when taking a short break.

Overload clutch built into the flywheel is under counstrucktion, the next becomes a belt conveyor to load material backwards in a carriage
and a small circular table with power feed to cleave the bark wood from Snik saw that very often is over 180 mm wide
the chipper takes 180x 110 mm 7.0x 4,3 inches
a Rebak is a Polish invention not so common in Sweden, so you have to build it your self

when the flywheel with overload clutch is finished we shall make at test run :dance1:
