^^^ Maple? That’s a nice looking stick of firewood.

What a shame to make firewood out of it!

I used to haul any decent logs to the sawmill but the local mill closed last year and it’s not worth the effort to truck them to a different one.

Well get you a little mill then...

I’d say this log is around a ton. Here’s as far as I could hold it over the side without tipping. View attachment 719347
Those little things are pretty strong. I would want one to lift something like this. Around 1700-1800 lbs

We got a ton of rain over the weekend so I've kept my tractor out of the woods for a couple days. Instead I did some boundary line maintenance. I like to keep the lines well marked and clear enough to walk. I put my saw in an old back pack and take a hike until I find a place that needs work. The uphill side is ours.

I tried to lift the trailer I had my cut lumber on, to move it to a difficult spot we couldn't do with the truck.
Flattened the front tires (not blown, just flattened) and almost impossible to steer.
I think it may have been too heavy :)
Got it moved but it was stressful waiting for a tire or hose to pop.
It was tough to pull with the 3/4 ton Ford as well.

What air pressure do you keep in those front tires?

Still original Chinese tires so metric, but...
160 KPa = 23psi front
120 KPa = 17.5psi rear

I pumped them up before use because they were low from sitting.
That trailer was plain 'ol heavy. It was chucking the truck around getting it here.
Back roads. Took it easy.
