X3 - Thanks for the pics of your equipment in action. Looks like you have a lot of room to work in. Is that firewood for yourself or do you have a bigger project you want to do in your woods ?

That isn't my land. I was going in after tops. There is/was about 75-100 cord on the 5 acre area that was logged. I was getting my wood for the year and selling off the surplus. I will be starting on another 9 acre area that was logged in January (same owner as the one in the pictures). It's going to keep my busy for a few months until Spring when the field gets plowed, then I'll be cut off (field is leased to another farmer).

I haven't purchased anything from them (aside from my one attempt) but was referred to them from a neighbor of mine who has bought chains from him as well as tires and tire repair. He had very good things to say about him. I've spoken with them on the phone a few times and they were very helpful. I'm really tempted to buy a set of those Talon's (again). Just can't seem to bite the bullet right now though.

Looks like a no go this year on Talons, no one has them. They did mention this set though "Single Diamond Forest Trac (12.5mm)

My day job is logging but I moonlight as a firewood cutter. Here's a few pics from this afternoon. To wet to move timber so firewood is keeping me busy.

Quite a statement from you living in tree country. Aren't trees considered weeds out there? Yes, there are some impressive pictures.
