Haven't you also mentioned using the same species for stickers as for boards to reduce staining?

I sticker mine about very 16-24 inches and keep the stickers lined up.. but I'm pretty new at this. I also ratchet strap my piles to keep them from warping too bad, seems to work for me.

I don't remember saying that, but many say it SHOULD be done that way.

I think it's MUCH more important to have DRY stickers and I always make sure to use dry stickers, I always have a pile of stickers cut and drying,

You can see, I have a place to put them right at the mill,
