Hardwood makes soft paper products like toilet paper and softwood make hard paper products like cardboard and slick magazines.
Softwood around here mostly makes construction lumber.. and some pulp with the smaller stuff.Hardwood makes soft paper products like toilet paper and softwood make hard paper products like cardboard and slick magazines.
Yes, I picked it up a month ago. I had so many things to do to ready for winter though, that I haven't even assembled it yet. That makes it a much easier package to keep under cover until I'm ready to start using it to saw out a shelter... next year after it stops snowing.Jstpssng - I was wondering if you got your mill yet? Just curious.

Most of my pine goes to lumber, most of my hickory and oak goes to firewood. We can sell just about anything here except pine pulp... with varying degrees of profit. Seeing SmokeyDogs oak logs going into firewood almost made me cry.![]()
I'm glad you got it !Since you haven't said much I was afraid they gave you another delay.

Dang, hope it works well!Unfortunately, it was me who had the latest delay. Apparently I'm not 20 anymore, I had two surgeries to put stents in both of my carotids. But now I'm good for another 60 years!!!![]()
