Trade in value?

I'm wondering what I can expect on trade in for a Yanmar 1702d. It has just over 700 hours, 4wd, 3 cyl diesel and is in great shape! Thanks!

Are you looking to trade it in towards a new tractor or going to a larger Yanmar? The dealers in new tractors have a little more fluff in their prices and it may appear that you get more for your trade in. If you trade in towards another Yanmar you will be trading with someone who buys only used tractors and is used to paying wholesale prices for them. Most of the time they will not give you anything close to what you could sell it for.

I'd be trading it in for a Kubota BX22. The only reason I'm looking to get rid of the Yanmar is because I'd perfer a 60" mid mount mower and the FEL and BH. I've already set a price for the Kubota so he couldn't inflate that and tell me a higher price for the tractor without hiding it

Don't worry, the rest of us won't hate you because you're abandoning Yanmar for Kubota. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love a BX22 but can't quite scrape up the cash. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
