I don't move a lot of trailers so I just hook the safety chains on the bucket. I could see a ball hitch if I did........JB.

I had a 2" receiver mounted on the top of the bucket. This was nice as it stayed out of the way. The down side is a drop hitch is required.
I have a 3pt 2" receiver that gets used 90% of the time but the front is nice if I need to use a trailer and dump what's on it. I'd rather pull a trailer a back the tractor personally.
It does have its purposes though so I had another receiver mounted on my newer tractor as soon as I got it.
Also, with a 2" receiver, you can make different attachments. Short boom poles etc....

I mounted a receiver on my pallet fork attachment and it works quite well, sorry no pix.

Before you go through all the work, chock the tires of the trailer and then make sure your loader has the strength to lift the tongue of your trailer. My B26 won't lift my 5th wheel.

I have every intention of making an attachment very much like clamp on forks.
It will span width of space between 2 bucket teeth and use one hefty screw down clamp (maybe 2) meaning that this U shaped thing will be about 7" wide (tooth spacing) with a 1/2" X 3" flat sticking out front with a hole for the hitch ball. Might use 2" I.D. square receiver tube so as to change sizes easily.
Promise to post pics when done.
