Ma bells phone lines are static and dont drive all over hauling tractors.

A soldered connection with good strain relief, and a non corroding dielectric grease would be a pretty good connection.

Look where you see wire nuts.. All on non moving static installs. Open your truck hood, no wire nuts. All molded connectors.

Guess I should've known I was opening a can of worms.

I'll go with whatever I come up with tomorrow. I know where soldering iron is, not so sure about crimp connectors I've misplaced them. Also need to find heat shrink.

Make sure you use adhesive heat shrink. Otherwise, moisture will enter.
