I dont see any axle alignment short of modifying hangers or tongue. Have heard of axles that are adjustable but not my slipper springs. Hangers welded to frame and axle bolted to hangers via loop in springs. Adjustment would be handy.

They use hydraulic jacks and bend the axles into alignment. I'm very satisfied with the process as it saves me a lot of money.

Want to give all hearty thanks for all the suggestions. Will keep all for the future.
Anyway axle alignment fixed. Cut two small pieces of .125 falt bar, drilled holes and welded to existing hanger, holes actually engaged existing hanger...distance from axles to coupler bang on. Trailer bed still 3/16 out of square, but i do not believe its noticeable, albeit it will bug me. Now floor, sides and gate......great forum

Smokeless I had spring mounts reworked on a 40 foot goose neck this spring. Big issue that trailer had was not enough travel between axle and frame. It was done with adding new axle mounts and reinforcing the mounting holes with heavy flat metal to thickening the spring mounting bolt.

Pull diagonal measurements on the frame. Then find measurements from the front of the frame to the axle hangers. The diagonals will give you squareness of frame, and the measurements then from the front of the frame will be accurate. That is what is important. If the hitch isn't on square, it won't matter as much since it will mainly just pull off center a tiny bit. If your axles aren't square with the frame, it will be a bigger issue with tire wear and crabbing down the road.
Good stuff. The frame is not square, out 3/16", which is making the hanger deminsions tilt. Cant explain how, been too long. Was ill in 2016 and placed frame in barn, now back at it. Too many cross members in place, tongue, hangers to rearrange, so thought i would make sure axles in sync with coupler so it would pull true. Not sure i fully grasp crabbing. Your comments welcomed and appreciated.

Crabbing is the tendency for the trailer to go "sideways" down the road, due to the axles not being square.

Extreme, deliberate crabbing. Hitch is not perpendicular to axle's precise center. I kinda doubt the OP would need curb feelers for 'dog-tracking' but tire wear can be a real concern. IMO single axle trailers have to be more than a little skewed and driven far before they show much of it. (<1/4" off, meh

Previously mentioned, tow it at highway speed on a good flat level road ( good luck on that one ) and momentarily hands free the steering wheel. That will quickly determine if there is a concern because just minute amounts of trailer wheel mis- alignment will pull the truck L or R and that will more than likely be in the (toe-in - toe-out) of the trailer wheels. All that other square stuff doesn't matter that much.
