Tried searching but couldn't find the info -- what would the minimum trailer length be to carry a B3030 w/FEL & Backhoe (with nothing hanging over the trailer end)?

Thanks

Also can anyone recommend a good dealer for trailers in the midatlantic area?

I got my B3030 today and I asked the guy what was the length of his trailer and he told me 19'. As you can see on the pic, there's very little room left even if you raise the backhoe in position. So IMO, 18' could possibly be the smallest you can get in straight position. I have a 16' and I'll try, tomorrow, to see if the tractor can fit on it with the backhoe turned on one side. I'll take a pic.

You should be able to get it on a 16ft trailer without to much of a problem but it will be tight.
An 18ft would be better but I have seen a few posts here with B2910's with a loader and backhoe loaded on 16ft trailers.
I would think the B3030 would fit a bit better than the B2910 because of the new 4pt style mounted backhoe. I may be wrong but it seems to sit a bit closer to the tractor.
I myself have a 16 ft tandem axle trailer...and a B3030 coming soon....So I hope I'm not wrong /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's a picture that Raybee posted here in the past of his B2710 on his 18' trailer...same size as the B3030...

From the pics posted, looks like 18' will work, however...

When I was pricing things a few months ago, there was very little difference in cost between 18' and 20' trailers - usually about $200. That two extra feet could sure come in handy...more room for implements, add a locking toolbox up front, or...?

Also, should you upgrade down the road, a 20' fits far more tractors.

OK, I took some pics of my rig today. A B3030 with backhoe and loader fits on a 16' trailer but you have to swing the backhoe on one side. Here the first pic.

Man do I feel better! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I was worried it might not fit on my trailer.
Looks good..... I hope to get mine very soon.
How does your vehicle pull that load? Did you try it out? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Stef thanks for the pics! Excellent. I may go with an 18' for the extra room and not much price difference.
