Trailer Purchasing Advise

Almost every trailer I see hauling heavy equipment is a gooseneck. Every stock trailer larger than a 2 horse model is a gooseneck. I would never buy a bumper pull for anything heavy. I like how goosenecks handle at highway speeds compared to a BP. And I’ve never had any issues backing a gooseneck. I do have a small bp for light duty hauling (my UTV).

You are the only one missing something.

You refuse to concede that a BP tracks the truck better than a GN and don't have to swing turns as wide or cut corners short if you don't swing wide enough.

It's not a debate, it's not an opinion....that statement is fact. And you refuse to acknowledge it and still want to argue and make yourself look foolish
First when did I say it didn’t? Please answer that and copy my words!
Again you are so far off it’s laughable !

I said I have no issue getting in to tight spots with my trailers and prefer a GN for 99% of my towing needs!
I said unless I am misjudging due to it only being a picture, that the intersection you posted would not pose a concern for any trailer that I have that hooks up to my pick up truck!
I said that it sounds like you don’t have much experiance with GN trailers.

If you scour my posts you will not find the alleged words you are trying to put in my mouth!

Your arguing for no reason and I,m letting you as it’s entertaining to see the stupidity!

Have a nice day!

Just out of curiosity would you back your gooseneck trailer into the picture of the driveway that was posted? I have backed my gooseneck into quite a few places that I couldn't pull into.

The insults show your true character.

Your assumptions, and inability to read, comprehend and question show your lack of!
So you are just a troll then?

I guess really you havent said anything of value....

You single me out.....just to tell me how inexperienced I must be and that you are the greatest trucker in the world pulling a gooseneck in tight quarters. Then won't let it go about how great you are and that you don't have any issues in tight spots.

That's great. Glad a gooseneck works for you and you don't have any areas TOO tight for a GN that a BP could handle. I do. That's why I have both types of trailers.

But since you accuse me of putting words in your mouth that you didn't say.....does this mean you AGREE that a BP can make a tighter turn?

Cause if you agree, what have the last 50 posts been about? Because that's all I have said....they can turn tighter 90°.

If you disagree with that....you're wrong plain and simple. And if you agree.....well this has been fun but all you are is a troll here to tell everyone how great you are with a GN all the while refusing to acknowledge that my comments were correct, and throw insults like I am inexperience. Just grow up already.

Unless it's like a 16' GN dump....it ain't getting in there. Trust me on that. My 25' isn't even close.

Those pillars are 10' apart, and barley 10' off the road narrow road.

Narrow road + the 10' isn't enough for the trailer to straighten back out making the turn without clipping the pillars.

Same with backing in. Just can't get the trailer to a hard 90 then get the truck swung back in front. Road simply too narrow and pillars too tight.

But super trucker would rather troll me with his insults than answer questions asked directly of him.

Yeah if you don't have enough room for a wide swing or the culvert is not extra long or gate or in this case pillars aren't set back far enough off the road it can be a no go, that's one of the things that suck about delivering hay or showing up to work where you haven't already been to and to the homeowner it's plenty of room and that's what they tell you, but they go in and out with a 12' bumper pull.

A troll? Super trucker? My is that the best you can do?

I asked a question, you answered it, I stated my preference you went on the attack!

Seems there are some very choice words I could use to describe you and the ones I choose were done so in an effort to be less abusive then I really should have been!
