I do share the same opinion as you and I experienced the exact same situation when I worked on the maintenance department of a local company that makes all kinds of ropes and specially twines for bailing for all over the world. The bailing twine was all the same but was sent out the door with different labels for Krone, NH, Kuhn, Fendt and a lot more brands.I worked at a manufacturing plant making air compressors right out of high school. Every day the compressors were a different color, different labels, but otherwise pretty much identical. The labels had large recognizable name brands. Do you really think that refineries do much more than put the customer's label on the containers they fill of what is basically a "commodity" type product?
