We have seen several feral hogs on our hunting property recently. They don't seem to be plentiful, but I guess that will change with time! We are talking about trapping them. Any experience here? Have seen plans online for both closed type traps and open corral type enclosures. We have put out corn but the deer and turkeys seem to be the main visitors. What's the best way to do this? Also for what to do with a pig after capture, should we just butcher it quickly or keep it penned and fed grain to "fatten it up" and improve the meat?

After the damage done to our property by wild hogs I've seriously been considering anti-personnel mines.
