Its not falling on the power pole or line and the NFS is the owner. I showed it as an "dangerous splitting tree" example and have no intention of felling it..The one with the meter? I wouldn’t cut it either. But seriously, maybe you could get the power company to deal with it.
Agreed. Photoshop is very likely, a real incident somewhat less. But I'd have trouble believing it was staged, as in, "let me go purposely hang my tractor from that tree".It might be photoshopped, but I highly doubt it was staged.
) agree it's real not photoshopped. The only way I could see is using crane that got it down hung it there for sensationalism, youtube hits, etc.Talk to your local power company, the 'may' take issue trees down for you for free. They do around here, I had them out earlier this week for a dead pine.Leave it or take it down?View attachment 828185

that tree looked like a good candidate for a tannerite takedown, idk if I'd want to be near it for longOne I cut yesterdays, I soon as it started going I ran away, good thing it broke in half and the top came back on it self.

I am seriously considering Stihl chaps. I have a crap ton of wood piled up from storm clean up to do this winter. I feel like irregularly piled wood and chunks of wood is more dangerous than a straight log laying on the ground or a standing tree. Reading through this article has pushed me into being more cautious.Chaps work - this was a couple of years ago with a Stihl 361
