tree/post puller

That needs a tiny little hydraulic cylinder to open and close it. Hang it from a short boom on the loader or 3pt. Stay in your seat.

I have one of those brush grubbers and overall it works pretty well -- I just wish they showed a better size perspective on some of the websites or listed the weight. The one I ordered is crazy-heavy and the spring is tough to open and it's physical size is bigger than what I would have expected relative to the jaw width. Its definitely a high-quality heavy duty tool, but it wears your arms out after a day of using it to pull stumps. Originally, the plan was for my 12 year old to hook it to the stumps/roots and I'd pull them out without leaving the seat, but it was too stiff for him to open after the first few saplings... and he plays defensive end on his football team.

It is pretty hard to open if you try to pull the jaws apart. It is much easier to open if you press down from the top while pulling on the jaws (got that bit of advise from a review of the BG HD AFTER I had struggled with it). The weight is a different story. Nothing you can do about that, but it is a sturdy product.

The Brush Grubber is the reason that I got the Long Arm Tree Puller. :D

i just push the top of the tree with the bucket.. once it tips over you can usually push the root ball out pretty easily. some trees you have to go back and forth tipping them each way but they'll come out. i just cleared a locust grove doing that.

Very good idea, since the 3pt has more lifting force than the FEL.

A backup camera would be needed if you used it for a long time.
