Tree Shear???

Came across a skid steer shears from Lackender Fabrications which they are advertising for $2500 to start. No specs were given, so if you are interested, you'll need to call. Their website is:
Lackender Hi-Reach
I would expect they could build one around the PT quick attach.

Buck14,

Thanks for the post and info. I spoke with mike and greg at gregorygrappler. Their unit sounds like it is probably the best on the market for what I am looking to do. only drawback is it will cost about $5-6K /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. It sounds like the PT 1445 will handle it as far a weight and flow are concerned. However, this skid-steer like attatchment requires bi-directional flow not unidirectional flow like PT has /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

PT said they can add a solenoid that will provide bi-directional flow like a skid steer.

Questions - Has anyone added an aftermartket solenoid to switch the PT from uni-directional to multi-direction flow?

How complicated is this set-up? How elegant is this set-up?

Is there a reason why bi-directional flow should NOT be used on a PT???

Tracdoc, still waiting for lackender to call me back

Everyone, thanks for the input

Changing the direction of flow isn't complicated. As PT mentioned it's only a selenoid or switching valve, which is the same thing the skid steers will use to change direction.
