hey all,
anyone have any experience with these?? (see www.treeterminator.com ) im particularly interested in the tree puller or the terminator with the 5" capacity, i have alot sapplings on my property that i want to clear that are under 5".

I'd want one heck of a crush cage around me before I'd shear off a 12" diameter hardwood tree. Seems hard to control the fall. Otherwise looks like fun. You could really scare the neighbors !!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well exactly. why have big power tools if you can't use them to scare people with? i have the same sentiment about a cage, they have one that does 20" trees, i think i'd want an armored troop carrier to do that.

There are specific machines built for the logging industry that shear the tree off, then strip the branches and place it on a pile or trailer.

The picture I saw leaves a little to desire for for operator safety!

Look at the Vassar, that is what I was going to buy until I realized I needed a bigger tractor.
