John Deere 5083e, Ford 4610, Ford 3000 (this ones family)
If you think a trencher won't dig it, around here you can rent an excavator for $1650 a week, plus $400 for delivery and fuel.
For $2000 ish you could dig ditches install pipe and conduit, wait on inspection, then backfill. Still have 3 days of time on excavator to do land clearing or what ever else you could come up with.
That would be the route I would take.
Update: Trench still not dug. My problem became more complicated.
It turns out that my property is covered by 2 electric companies. Company 1 has a pole on my property and was who I thought would cover my house. It turns out that their coverage area end about 300' in. Company 2 covers the spot where I'd like to build, but they have no pole at the street. I will need to negotiate easements from neighbors and clear that easement. This route will be more than 1000 feet. I requested an exception from Company 2 to let Company 1 cover my house, but was initially denied. I am now trying to negotiate the easements, but feel it will take a while.
