Tresspassing Slob Hunters, Part II

Hunting isn't just an activity made up to satisfy the need to kill poor helpless animals. It is actually a major part to wildlife management and if it didn't exist it would be more devastating to the animal population by spread of disease and the impact they would have on the environment they live in. They would eventually starve to death. It is part of the circle of life that keeps the word going round.

Mate, you need to invest in (what we Aussies call) a Bull Bar; bull bar - Google Search

Also known as a Roo Bar. They are very common over here... even on cars.

Or something like an old Valiant (245 hemi). No bar on the one I had, but in the time I was there (1979-92) managed 13 roos, 3 pigs and a cow. The cow knocked the insignia off the front of the bonnet - otherwise no damage at all. I had only borrowed it from my brother when I arrived, so gave it back to him at the airport as we left. He sold it and the new owner wrote it off within a fortnight of me leaving. Argued with a big old gum tree!

Although I rarely have the time to set aside to hunt anymore, added I don't need the meat, I wholehartedly agree.

You also forgot about the money raised by hunters through licensing, added that the "good" hunters care more about the environment and the wildlifes habitat probably more so than anti hunters (we need to preserve what we have so we CAN hunt).

Now, if we can only get rid of the idiot hunters who don't show any respect to anything, the sport would be a whole lot better IMO.

My fantasy is to kill the deer that ran in front of my truck 2 weeks ago and fubared it up.

A deer walked away from that impact? I knew that they were making bumpers thinner, but that is ridiculous.

Unfortunately there is always one in every crowd (idiot) , the bigger the crowed the more idiots. In Canada it seems the money raised through licences is used less and less on conservation and officers which allows more opportunity for idiots.

It's a good bet that it's already dead.

My fantasy ; Give the deer guns. I'd bet the hunting would diminish to almost 0. Of course, there would be folks who would
hunt anyway. But not too many.

Cheers.....Coffeeman

I've always said that too. It'd be a little different if they were shooting back. :)

Hence, the purpose of this thread. Just one way to get rid of TSHs. Maybe it will work for someone else.
