Wanted a little more juice for two-up touring than my little F could dish out, so I sprung for a 2003 Triumph Tiger.

BTW, Triumph has excellent factory incentives on all models until December 31st. I got free hard bags and $1k of goodies.

It certainly garnered its share of attention. People who would have normally kept going were pulling in to the 2nd entrance of the overlooks when we stopped for breaks.

I hope everyone is ready for these pictures.

I certainly don't look like I did 22 years ago, but the Brooks leathers that were in the attic in a bag, still fit me. Saves me some money. I spent enough on the new bike.

My wife says "You must have bought them during a 'fat' period". I know my hair wasn't grey last time I had them on.

My wife made the comment that with the chaps and jacket on, I looked pretty "sexy". The chaps make me look like I have something "more" than I really do. Looks can be deceiving.

I think she is suffering from dementia.

I do have a little more in the middle than days of yore, but so does my wife. Tit for tat. Most of my longtime friends don't have any hair now days or at least not much to speak of.

They all either say that their heads are solar panels for sex machines or that they have just grown taller than their hair.

I've decided to let my hair grow, maybe over the shoulder. I'll really look the retro part then??

6 days left before the pilgrimage to Kalamazoo, Michigan to pick up the new Bonneville. I'll make the "Bonnie" feel just like a Harley on the way home......it will ride in the back of my pickup truck. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
