Hard to say. Since it was 1933, that was a few weeks before my time.

New Question.
What year was Manfred Von Richthofen shot down???:confused2:
Who shot him down???:confused3:

He was killed in 1918. He was just a few weeks shy of his 26 birthday. He was shot down by a ground anti-aircraft round.

He was also shot down in 1917, but survived. He had more than one surgery to remove bone fragments in his skull, following that incident. It is probably the lingering effects of the event, that ulimately led to his demise, since it left him with headaches, nausea and dizziness.

.

Apparently fired by an Aussie.

There's a recreation in a small museum at Omaka near Blenheim. Lots of WW1 aircraft there. The scenery was created by Weta Workshops who did all the costumes and scenery for Lord of the Rings, TheHobbit and I think Avitar.

There that's a lot more trivia :)

The "Who" has always be a controversy. It was pretty well settled long ago. But is still going on.

Autopsy reports show the bullet came from below, not above. But I assume there can always be controversy.
The RAF credited Brown with shooting down the Red Baron, but it is now generally agreed that the bullet that hit Richthofen was fired from the ground. Richthofen died following an extremely serious and inevitably fatal chest wound from a single bullet, penetrating from the right armpit and resurfacing next to the left nipple. Brown's attack was from behind and above, and from Richthofen's left. Even more conclusively, Richthofen could not have continued his pursuit of May for as long as he did (up to two minutes) had this wound come from Brown's guns. Brown himself never spoke much about what happened that day, claiming, "There is no point in me commenting, as the evidence is already out there"

A famous fictional character flew a Jet plane through the open doors of a hangar:

Who was the character?
What was the movie?
What was the make of the aircraft?

James Bond.

The little jet is just up the road in Morana AZ. The designer, builder, owner & pilot flies it fairly often.
But I can not remember his name or the plane name.

A WAG: was it the plane to be carried by dirigibles for air defense? Launch from the dirigible when needed, reover by hooking onto a trapeze arrangement. That did not work. It was known as the "Goblin".
