Whatever I previously used a wheelbarrow for is now FEL duty. Like the saying - Luxuries once tasted become necessities !

I've never tried it with a tractor, at work occasionally I used to make a few $$ on bets that I could pick up a dime off the concrete with a forklift:eek:.

I lost very few bets, picked up quite a few dimes. :p

I've used mine as a "ladder" to paint around windows of my house. I can usually stand on the ROPs to get some of the second story stuff, too. Just have to be careful to lean away from the tractor so as not to get ANY paint on the tractor.

Tractor Olympics - try "Gargabe Can Stacking". Like the little kids do with cups... Gotta be metal cans - quickest time & least dents in garbage cans wins.

My wife's donkey gets out occasionally. Leading him back is a pita. He'll lock his feet an pull against you. I tried on my ATV to "lead" him home...he'd bury his feet and make it possible, but extremely difficult.

Now, I just hook his lead to the tractor and giddy up.

Now, he comes peacefully:eek:

I would like to hire you to walk my wife's dog. :D

I think I'm gonna need a faster lift rate on my FEL to play. You know after reading some of the ... let's see what shall we call them ... /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif"Stupid tractor tricks?"/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif in this thread. I think we may be on to a whole new series of events. Instead of tractor pulls (which compacts are no good for anyway) we could have events like cow pie flip, trash can carry, basketball pickup (and drop in the can), loader lofting, and others. We might include TPH hookup, Loader drop, MMM mounting, and best wheel stand as side events. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

LAWN DARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im sure some one has a crappy round bale spere some where

Is this trivial use or MOST trivial use?

I've got a full sized industrial backhoe/loader (JCB) and my most trivital uses so far with it have been perhaps 2 things.

1. Wife wanted some flowers replanted so I went to the new location, dug a hole...went to the flowers, scooped them up and dumped them in new location. Was done in 10 minutes & nary a drop of sweat.

2. She had a little Angle fish that died. Was about 2 inches long. I was going to "fling" it into the woods, she said I had to bury it. Instead of grabbing a shovel (or flinging it anyway when she wasn't looking) I jumped on backhoe, fish in plastic cup, drove to top of hill and dug a 2' wide hole for the fish. (I DID "fling" it into the hole)

Used the BH with 8 cu-ft 36" wide bucket to turn the mulch pile.

Sort of a waste of effort as I had to use a shovel to smooth out the lawn areas that were messed up by the stabilizer pads and where the bucket scooted.....
