Trivial uses - knocked dead branches off a couple pines because they were poking me when I backed up while digging stumps. Used bucket as elevated dumpster while removing old siding from house.

Olympic events - Synchronized driving, Threading a mower/hog between trees, Turning with a rear mount mower/hog and not trimming the rock wall, flower garden, vegetable garden, etc., Gymnastic events - mount/dismounting the tractor, servicing the engine with the loader on. Wrestling weight classes - lightweight (attaching broadcast spreader), medium (small rake, blade), heavy (tiller, mower).

O.K., I'm done.

Thats right a basketball. Now that's hard. First time I tried it I had to chase the thing all over the place till I traped it against a rock.

OK, so we create a new event for the TBN Tractor Olympics - soccer using front end loaders. (Have to admit that I sort of stole the idea from an article I saw in a car magazine about pushing a giant soccer ball with demolition-derby cars...)

I'm sure that we could find lots of fields to play in. We can start with regional games, playoffs... OK, maybe not /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif.

Hey, why not? After all, they do hold snowplow rodeos, don't they? (I'm not really asking the question 'cause I already know the answer!)

And they also hold bus rodeos!

I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be a tractor rodeo (or Olympics, or Super Something)! It wouldn't surprise me one bit if someone, somewhere was already doing something like this!

A little off of the subject. They have the neatest demolition derby over in Eastern Washington every year, using Old combines.

How about American League Compact Tractor Polo.

I use mine to ride my 10 month on sometimes. I know you're not suppose to have passengers but seeing that smile on his face is worth every minute of it.

Here is another good use of sub compact tractors.
We pulled our homemade "little train cars"
in our home town 4th of july parade with the kids from our church as passengers.
we won first place in the parade
The photo is a friend of mine at our previous church,
I have made 10 more cars for our new church
(The Country Church) in Marion Texas
Hopefully we will use them in the 125th aniversary of Marion parade on August 4th.

I have a retired friend who has a rig like that. He makes a ton of money in the summer traveling around to small town fests and giving kiddy rides.

Looking at Jim's attachment of the little train cars brought a question to mind.

Horizontal Traffic Lights. Texas is the only state I recall ever seeing traffic signals hung horizontally. Does anywhere else do this? Why?
