Troubles with brand new tractor... PLEASE help!

Well I'm late to this party but glad to hear you made out OK. I had a Craftsman for many years and it was a great machine but living here in Newfoundland I'd have the occasional electrical issue so like others have suggested here get yourself some die-electrical grease at Canadian Tire the next time your in Gander and pull every plug you can and put some of that grease in it. You'll be happy you did.

As for Fogo Island. Well, I live in Bay Roberts and my Navy Son had the good sense to come back last year for a few weeks and marry a great little lady from Fogo. We spent five days over there and I can tell you that the nicest people in the world and the greatest scenery is on Fogo Island hands down.
The wife and I will be heading back again this summer for a visit. Glenn if you need any die-electric grease and can't find any let me know and I'll send you some

Hi Paul,

Yes, my nerves certainly got frazzled that day; nothing worse than turning the key on your brand-spanking-new tractor, only to hear... click! But it was just a plug that obviously had not been pushed fully into place at the factory, and all is well now. I am extremely happy with this machine, and hope to get many years use out of it. A lawn tractor is certainly a rarity on Fogo Island; in fact I know of no others. Every time I am out cutting the lawn, cars will slow down, and even stop, to look at it! I have a small lawn, but a permanent spinal injury prevents me from pushing a mower. And I'm ordering a 44" blower attachment for it also, so no more snow shoveling either!

I must agree regarding the scenery here on Fogo Island. We have lived in four provinces, (Ontario, Manitoba, BC, NL) but I have never seen a more stunningly beautiful place as right here. You may know that I am a landscape/nature photographer, so I am very fortunate to be surrounded by such unique scenery. The majority of images posted on my website (see link below) were taken either directly in front of our Island Harbour home, or mere steps from it.
