Truck canopy removal ?

I just got a new ride recently (Taco 4X4) and a topper for it to be used for hunting, my idea for removal is put in four post of some kind with hooks of some sort to hold a bar or 2X4 on each set of post in an out of the way spot and just back truck between post and lift one end at a time and slide bar or 2X4 under each end then drive truck out and secure top to stand in some manner that I'm sure will come to me when I put this all together.

I would use the shop ceiling with cable and some kind of rigging but I don't want the topper hanging from just the purlins that are 25' long and my shop space has dwindled over time.

Well, without getting into personal stuff, I lift weights as a hobby so maybe I may have made assumptions without thinking.

I have a Leer top, glass all around and I suspect this one will go 200 + lbs but it isn't that bad lifting it just off the bed and then back a step or two at a time. Just saying....

About the only time I remove mine is to wax it and clean out the bed of the truck. I remove it even less (than the previous top) since I got the fold-down front window in the top, allowing access to the outside of the front topper window and the outside of the rear cab window, for cleaning. Best option I have ever seen for a topper.

I'm not body builder. Never lifted a weight in my life. That is how I've taken my caps off since I was 16. It's amazing how much you can lift, just by putting your back flat against the roof and lifting with your legs.
