That is a great rig and you are right..not good for it to just sit, best to give it excersise now and again..have fun ! Really nice job by the way !

- Many over the years, + '05 JD-4410 TLB, but quite proud of my big green "Rolls": AKA: 2006 JD-3520 Cab, HST, Tunes & 2-way tiltmeter, Cobra communications and 6" (x2) rear wheel spacers for a lot less pucker-factor!!
HEY JESSE : Got my Jan/Feb issue of "Wheels of Time" today, and right there just inside the front cover, . . . "Big Red" coming right up off the page of the "PPG Paint" full page ad. CONGRATULATIONS !!
Man you better be proud of that one! I just love the "angle" they used, what a perfect angle to show off her finest points!!

Tug, it cost a lot of money to get the truck in Wheels of Time! I'm very pleased with the way it turned out, never will be finished. Got some NOS Stewart Warner gauges off Ebay to replace old ones. Have a new shutterstat air cylinder coming. May replace the old 10 speed RoadRanger with a newer 13 speed RoadRanger. That 220 Cummins would benefit from being able to split gears.
I hope to start a new restoration thread for my '57 White WC22PLT this spring. I need to pull the radiator and get it boiled out and have one of the gas tanks boiled out and repaired. Also need to finish wiring before it goes to the body shop. It'll be painted the same factory red as the '59.

...Ah, Yes Jesse,... you'll need to get a tight left handed grip on that big white wheel, as that RR-13 should allow the ole-girl to clear 'er throat and step out smartly, .... while keeping you busy up there with something to do!! (ha, ha!)
Sounds both "interesting" ~and~ "exciting" to me, . . good luck with that,.. AND with Big Red's "kid-sister" the WC-22 !!

Jesse, . . WOW,..what a fine pair they will make in matching reds! Looks like you been out collecting bits and pieces already? At least that little 22 looks to be wearing a brand spankin new front bumper,.... and is that another one of those "extra-large" size white,.. White steering wheels?
At least those are my guesses from this distance. That should bring your knuckles up pretty close to the glass if it is the big one,...would it not? .. .. OR,.. am I not seeing toooo clearly through this snow?
Pretty nice set of trucks and I certainly look forward to watching the restoration. ~Just trying to keep it "site-related"~, . . I'll say I remember the WC-22 as a fine little '50's era, highway float "tractor" !! Good luck with it!

The '57 will be painted the same red as the '59. I've already got the rubber pieces for the front and back glass and cowl. The bumper is original. Steering wheel is NOS, 22" compared to the standard 20". The body shop will beat out the dents in the fenders and replace the windshield.
I'm going to pull the radiator and have it boiled out before I take it to the body shop. Also need to finish some wiring. I'm going to have to pull one fuel tank and have it boiled out.
