Many moons ago, when I was stationed on Okinawa, we used to run the car's A/C when/if we got part of the interior wet (rained frequently). Even when it wasn't hot outside. The dry air of the A/C really helped dry out any wet seats or carpet.
We run AC all year so we don't fog up and keeps the seals fresh, I believe cracked seals are expensive, it is amazing how much water drips from under the condenser on days that don't feel humid and how many people tell you that your radiator is leaking.
