Trying to buy a tractor - 3 options has me confused on best value for my use - HELP

I've owned both brands (a 2005 Kubota B7510HST and a 2008 Mahindra 5525). Both are good.
It's a no-brainer--get the L3901HST.

I know i've replied too many times to this thread :confused2::shocked: but a new plan would be buy the L3901, sell the mower for $1200, sell the trailer for $2,500, then sell the L3901 for $22,500!!! Then buy the model listed 2 posts above ^^^^ (I'll stop posting now )

Any LS dealers near you? If so, worth a look.

I took the suggestion and called the LS dealer here in NC and in VA near the property. I haven't seen the tractors in person but i can say they both lost me on the phone... Both seem like really small operations.. Neither could tell me the differences between the XR and XG models. The guy in Raleigh has had LS for 1 yr but said he sold Kubota for over 20 yrs. He didn't seem like he was willing to do anything to motivate me to make a move other than give me list prices... if he doesn't really want my business now then surely after the sale, he'll want me less...No more than the 1-2 long weekends per month that I'll get use it, I don't think i'm willing to go with a less known brand @ this point.

I would consider LS a safer bet than Mahindra but neither have a good dealer network as as far as I can tell (I know there are exceptions) so neither were in the running for me.

At least LS corporate appears to be responsive to customers even if the dealer isn't (unlike Mahindra that appears to be a deadbeat manufacturer).

hahahaha I'm usually a very action oriented, make decision easily kind of guy.. I'm still torn on this... 1 minute I'm leaning toward just buying the used mahindra & renting a trailer to get it to our mts property..worse case scenario, I've got less than $13k tied up in it (after adding the scrape blade). i'm confident i can get a decent amount of work out of it moving mulch and wood chips... Surely i can get close to that back out of it...

Next minute I'm like invest a bit more and feel more confident that I can get my $ back out of the deal with the Kubota. hmmm...lol

If the Kubota is a well maintained unit the decision is going to be made for you very soon.

Lol you're good man... I looked at that grand L @ the dealership... it's definitely well worn and not from just a rotary cutter kind of use... it's got a bit more age on it than i want..plus i like the HST version with the FEL use that we need to do..i also want hst so that the wife can drive it as well...
