Can anybody confirm that when using a 200cx loader on a 2320 , is the lift limit (weight) the same as it would be on the 2520 using the same loader?

The reason why I ask is it was identical on the 4110 & 4115 using the 410 loader

The spec show increased flow on the 2520 but I cant confirm if this translates to higher lifting ability - I dont see it on the 3pt capacity being any more than the 4115

Thanks

Duc

In case anybody is interested I found some answers - the hydrolic lift ability using the 200cx on the 2320 and 2520 are the same capacity. Just like on the 4110 & 4115...

Yes, lots of photos. The JD dealer wanted a few so I set up the page quickly. This tractor is a real workhorse, built well with a solid engine and transmission. I will have a hard time parting with it and will only let it go to a good home. I only hope that I can get a worthy replacement. This tractor has never let me down. Not a problem in 21 years!

I thought my 650 was in good shape. Have to tell ya yours has it beat.
Bought my 650 new in 1988 with the hoe and loader. 1400 hours and never a problem, a workhorse is an understatement. Other attachments – post hole digger, 5 ft rear mower, 5 ft rake, 5.5 ft snow blade. Was going to trade it in on a 2520 this year. Dealer said it would be like down grading but said he would give me $10,500.00 on a trade. The third time the dealer said it would be down grading I decided to keep the 650. The 2520 weighs approximately 10 pounds more than my (little) 650.

Yep very cool.

Sounds like the 2320 is the way to go if you have some tight turning space requirements

I have pretty much made up my mind that I will be buying the 2320 with the 200CX loader and 62D mower. My question is for Dan. What prices were you quoted for the 2320, 2520, and the attachments? Thanks

Whew,

I am also reserching the 2305, 2320, 2520. I can't tell how helpful it has been checking these tractor forums. I had a 400 and the engine let go, I was upset at first until my wife said "just get a new one - we need it". HEHE, don't think she realized what I was planning on getting. I do need it though considering I am doing grading, seeding, landscaping, patio prep, tree pulling, then it will be mostly mowing and snow removal but I'm sure I'll have other projects on the horizon.
Anyway, I have pretty much came to the conclusion the 2320 with 200cx loader and 62"MMM is the best choice for me. I was worried about it being to much tractor for my 2 1/2 acres but from what I have reserched over the last week it is a great choice. I like the upgrades from the 2305...stronger axles, better trans, better hydro for more lifting power, stronger frame, more clearance, full cat 1 3 point, hydro cooling system, position control on 3 point which I feel is very nice to have. The 2305 is still a great tractor too, just depends on what you want.
I am in Michigan but the best price I got was in Indiana which was $16200.00 (3 hrs away) which nobody around here seems be able to get within a $1000 of.

Oh man I'm excited, going this friday to pick up. Wife may have come out to the garage to wake me up saturday morning. ;)

they can lift the same but the 2520 will do it quicker

Do we all know the 2520 has a dual pump system vs a single on the 2320? Also, the rear end has different gearing, the loader, while the "same" is actually quite different in "feel" when using. and uh more HP!!!

There was a pretty extensive thread on this same issue not too long ago. I think you'll find about the same comments. If my memory serves me right, i believe one of the posters had both and said that the 2520 was stronger in life than on paper as compared to the 2320. I do not know. I have a 2320 but have not been able to use it much as it turned out to be a lemon. Deere is sending a new motor now. What little I got to use it, I really enjoyed it. Great manueverability with the mmm. No regrets other than drawing a bad card.
