TS 100 Master cylinder leak

A buddy has a TS 100 and the master cylinder is leaking where the pedal pushes in the piston. Can these be repaired with new seals. Dealer says he has to buy a new master cylinder for $800.00 Thanks

The later years were TL100A. In either case Messicks shows the master cylinder at $326. Don't see any exploded view that shows parts for it.

Actually I just found a kit on ebay for 67 bucks.

Cheapest brake master I could find on ebay was around 400 Canadian delivered. The clutch ones are cheap

G'day if you are going to rebuild one then do both while you are in there and be sure to use the correct fluid for it I think it should be a mineral fluid IIRC
