I got a rain check from TSC on the 48" XB tiller from King Kutter back in end of December. I just got a call that it came in. I was no longer interested in it as I ended up with a Woods 52". KK told me they didn't think it would fit the JD X585 but I thought they were wrong. Curious I went to tke a look at it anyway and here are my observations. I can only comment on the physical aspects as I haven't used either except the woods for one minute to made sure it worked. The KK unit was priced at $1097.00. I paid $1300.00 for the Woods. The KK unit looked nice. The welds looked ok. The paint looked good except for where it rubbed off in various places from shipping maybe. Sitting next to the standard KK tillers it looked light duty. The lower link attachment points could be a problem as they are ~5/16" steel plate with a pin that has two sizes -Cat 0 on the inside and Cat 1 on the outside. They are non adjustable. For the extra $200.00 I'm glad I got the Woods. Here are some pictures of the KK and Woods

They are adjustable. You can flip them around by unbolting them and turning them around.

The KK 48" XB tiller is there sub compact line. The weight is less than 400 lbs compared to their heavy 48" which is around 600lbs. The model Woods I have is chain drive as is the KK XB 48"

Its just as well, with that red color someone might mistake you to have bought one of those junkie ccm tillers.

didn't know there was a difference in the 48 inch tillers: the B7510 lifts it ok, so i figure i'll use it on it when i get a driveshaft that will fit..
