Tire Selection Turf or Industrial tires

R1's(Ag) are my choice,next would be Turf's ,then R4.Our tractors are used for snow removal and dirt work.My BIL has a L3300 set up with Turfs and does really well with it.R4's will have more weight rating but don't do well when it gets slick.

:welcome: to TBN if given a chose i would choose turfs and add snow chains if needed.

If you want those R4 tires to do better in the snow/ice, you can add grooves/sipes. Here is a long thread with many pictures.
