One extra bit of info about strength. The way the turnbuckle system is designed, once you tighten up the turnbuckle, the lower link can't swing out, but it can swing towards the center of the tractor. Since there are two lower links and neither can swing out, the implement stays centered. The catch is that when the implement is pushed to the side all of the pressure is on just one turnbuckle.

With the 2710 system, once you put the pin in, the lower link can't move (much) in either direction. So I think whatever sideways force you're putting on the implement will be divided between both of the stabilizers. In addition, the flat bar in a rectangular tube system looks quite a bit stronger than the original turnbuckle.
