Kioti LK3054xs TLB, 2004
A momentous event, I turned 200 hours today on my 2004 Kioti Lk 3054XS TLB.

She starts great no matter what the temperature, she operates great and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The machine is the perfect size for my 3.5 acres of very rocky property. The loader lifts nice and high and is strong enough for anything I've run into and the backhoe comes in very handy. The R4 tires work good for me, although today in the snow would've been nice to have AG, overall, I really do like the R4's.

I've put almost exactly 50 hours on her since I bought her a year ago tomorrow.

I really like my Kioti and this Forum.

Sincerely,
Joel

Yeah those r4's,this is my first tractor with r4's and it hasn't snowed more than 1 inch at a time here this winter,so can't tell[only bought the ck30 this summer],and haven't had it in any real muddy places either,so..

But will say with them loaded[with methinal and water],they really seem to add stability on side slopes when brush hogging as compared to simular sized tractor with agg's,so so far like them.

Before next winter comes, believe I will have a set of chains for it,just put them on when I put rear blade on and leave them on till spring, when I take blade off and put tiller on.

But,we'll see if it snows 6-8 inches here this winter.

Congrats Joel, your machine survived a maintenance interval! :D

Ags are good for my clay and ...well....ag use, but I'd almost think R4s would be almost as good on snow, and better than ags on ice. I also think with your rocky terrain, the R4s give you better puncture resistance. That tire debate has raged on the pages of this forum.

I expect to turn 200 hours on my DK45 on the next use (snowblowing/plowing or horse-poop scoop duty....or doodie). That averages about 35 hours a month! Just goes to show how much more useful the DK is over my former Jinma, which took me 5 years to hit 190 hours.

I am impressed with the apparent Kioti immunity to cold weather, for I never doubted that my DK would start, even in those sub-zero mornings.

My 2008 Kioti DK40SE turned 60 hrs.this Jan.The only regret I have, should have went with ag tires instead of the R-4,s.coobie

I'm up to almost 100 hrs on my DK40se with R4s. I like the R4 tires but I do wish I'd had them loaded. I can spin them pretty easily even in 4wd. I have the windshield washer fluid and equipment to load them I just haven't gotten around to it. Whenever I have free time the choice is always maintenance or fun....except for obligatory oil changes etc I tend to choose the fun and just get into the seat and drive off to do my "chores". Maybe some rainy day this Spring I'll be good and load the tires.

congrats on the anniversary of the machine. glad to hear it's working out well. i have over 300 trouble free hours on my ck20hst. it's a beast and so easy to operate. i went with the smaller hst machine as it was easier for my wife to use as well... she has a pretty good amount of hours on it as well, digging out giant rocks with the BH and moving dirt to expand her garden area. i just can't seem to get her out to do the snow blowing..... oh well, my loss , i mean my gain...

as to the kioti forum and the entire tbn forum, it is a great place to gain and share knowledge and experience.... great place, great people.

Agreed!!

Glad you guys are happy with your machines. I think Kioti was a great choice for me. I am hoping to have this machine for a long long long time. With luck it will be the mini-boses one day.

Sincerely,
Joel

Joel, If you continue to run those hours up on that tractor, before you know it you'll be over at the Kioti dealer shopping for a replacement.

C'mon Joel - trailer that rig down to the farm this spring and I'll put you to work. We'll put enough hours on it so by Wallace's next cookout, you will be trading it in on a brand new DK45 Cab. :D

I just got a flash picture in my mind of your sinewous self-control mutating into inevitable drooling. You got it all over the instrument panel, AND fogged the windows.::eek:

OK Deputy, there you go agin usin them words I doesn't understand.

My problem is, my machine really is perfect sized for my three acres of rock.

You've got a great machine though, I am certain your backhoe digs stronger than mine, that would be the only thing I'd like to have is my size tractor with an industrial strength hoe, I hit some nasty stuff here in the granite state.

Glad I'm not the only one looking forward to the cookout. The mini-boss is fired up, the boss, not so much.

:)

You gotta post some pictures of the projects you got going, you've posted few of the property.

Joel
