One place I used the loader arm lift was when I had a Woods 7500 hoe on a Kubota L2900 and had to dig 8.5' deep.
Roll the bucket all the way down and use the arms to lift front end 1.5'+ in the air and it lowers the hoe so I could dig deeper.
On my big hoe when digging on slopes u need to keep hoe level or u will have trouble swinging large loads in bucket and u can't keep a level floor.
I have never seen a loader that couldn't lift the front end w/ arms and not roll.
Well I take that back, the old single acting on the JD B or old Farmalls can't lift the front end.

I don't see what the big deal is anyhow. Seems like it is just set a little low from the factory. Even with it adjusted, you can only lift the front end about an inch with the bucket level with the ground. Then the cylinders are out of travel.

I lift my tractor mostly for putting the mower deck on. With the bucket tipped forward I can get about 18" off the ground with no troubles.

( This was a low-tech method to adjust my pressure relief at the valve but, as the system main relief is supposed to be set at 2150 psi, I think it is safe from a hydraulic system stand point. The only question that remains is will the mechanical systems survive the additional abuse. )

Mrwurm, I have attached a scan of a page out of my TC33D owners manual. It shows the 'hydraulic lift system' setting to be 2133 PSI. I believe this may be referring to the 3-point lift system and not the loader. I will attach a scan from my loader manual next.

Here is a scan of my 7308 owners manual specifications page. It is referring to 1800 PSI as the pressure that the FEL is rated at while at 2600 RPM's.

I went out to my friendly neighborhood hydraulic store and got some parts today (see attachment).

Here is the gauge inline in my FEL lift circuit.

Here is a picture of the gauge reading 1775 PSI at 2700 RPM (I forgot that the rated RPM was 2600 when I did this test). This is the way my system was set from the factory, I had not made any adjustments yet.

Spencer

How much did that setup cost including gauge?

Thanks
