( I'm needing one of those. Actually I would prefer just to rent one. Would my 4wd 36HP Kubota pull a 2 bottom plow? Pretty heavy clay soil, and I would (could) till it first.

Also, I'm guessing it's not a rollover plow... how do you get it flop the dirt in the same direction? )

Your soil condition will determine if you can plow with a two bottom plow. As for renting a plow, that will probably be a problem. I purchased my plow cause I have a need for one for many years to come. If you have any family or friends that have a two bottom plow that you could barrow, then you could try it out and see how it performs for you or to your liking. As for my plow, no its not a roll over plow. When I got to the end of the field, I pulled the plow out of the ground and I just turned around and drove back and started the furrows over again once I got aligned up with the other furrows (plow down the field and drive back to the beginning). Hopefully I've explained that enough for you to understand. If I would have plowed in both directions, there would be a small area that the plow would have not be plowing in. The front tire goes in the ditch (furrow) the plow made the first time. By the way, I would plow first, then till it up. Tilling hard ground would be hard on your tiller. But that would be my opinion.

Thanks
Cliff

I've also got a pile of parts for those plows. One entire trip shank, a complete bottom, and a bunch of hitch parts.

I'm not that far from you (about two hours). I'm just south of Bowling Green in little town called Franklin. I might hit you up for some parts. My plow is missing both the culters. I still have the brackets that are bolted to the frame. I'm just missing the bar and the roller culter. I'm not sure I really need them. But I would like to have it all there. One thing that will need attention would be the three point hitch bar. The cat II pins is what needs attention. There both rusted away some. I thought about welding them both up and grinding them down to the right OD. The rear wheel is loose as a goose. I'm not sure if it has bearings or just a bushing. Once I get it apart, I'll be able to go from there. The arm that is used to hold the plow up while it is unhooked, is bent REAL bad. Someone plowed with it down and when they turned, the stand dug into the ground and got bent. I tried to bend it back, but I had no luck. You wouldn't happen to have one would you? By the way, what would you be asking price wise for the manual? I might just go ahead and take that off your hands.

Thanks
Cliff
