( I'm needing one of those. Actually I would prefer just to rent one. Would my 4wd 36HP Kubota pull a 2 bottom plow? Pretty heavy clay soil, and I would (could) till it first.
Also, I'm guessing it's not a rollover plow... how do you get it flop the dirt in the same direction? )
Your soil condition will determine if you can plow with a two bottom plow. As for renting a plow, that will probably be a problem. I purchased my plow cause I have a need for one for many years to come. If you have any family or friends that have a two bottom plow that you could barrow, then you could try it out and see how it performs for you or to your liking. As for my plow, no its not a roll over plow. When I got to the end of the field, I pulled the plow out of the ground and I just turned around and drove back and started the furrows over again once I got aligned up with the other furrows (plow down the field and drive back to the beginning). Hopefully I've explained that enough for you to understand. If I would have plowed in both directions, there would be a small area that the plow would have not be plowing in. The front tire goes in the ditch (furrow) the plow made the first time. By the way, I would plow first, then till it up. Tilling hard ground would be hard on your tiller. But that would be my opinion.
Thanks
